What is asked

• Comprehension of real Latin from authors such as Cicero, Livy, Horace, Ovid, and Pliny, and sometimes later Latin.
• This is the level that may ask students to recognize grammatical constructions.
• Greek authors such as Homer may appear as background for a Latin passage.
